Bows + Stars
Happy Thursday pretty friends,
I hope everyone has had a wonderful week! Gosh, this may have been the quickest week ever. Henry’s birthday was Monday and I think that through me for a loop. I still cannot believe we have a ONE year old! He is a constant joy and makes each and everyday the absolute best! Just as I am typing this he is starting to have interest in learning how to walk. Before now, he just has not given it the time of day. I personally think it is because he knows he can get there faster if he crawls. And let me tell you, the boy is FAST…I can’t say that I blame him! But, I am super excited as his brain learns and explores new things daily! Our favorite walker, and yes we have them all HA, is this one. It is probably the most simple, but since you can take the “food” attachment out I think its fun for him to put random things in the basket.
With Fourth of July coming up, I have rounded up my top picks. I actually have a tab up that you can see all of my picks and not just what is featured in this post, so be sure to check it out on my main menu with the tab down that says Fourth of July!
As you already may know, I am a sucker for bows, seersucker, and anything strapless so put the three together…we have the perfect trifecta! This top may be the cutest thing ever and is perfect for whatever you may have going on for the 4th this year. Every Fourth of July, we go up to the mountains. Yes, I know we go there a lot, but it is our home away from home and we hope to continue making memories in our home and keeping the tradition strong with our growing family. But lets be honest though, can you blame us for our weekend trips almost every weekend. It is always about 10 degrees cooler up there than it is in Atlanta, so it is much more enjoyable to be out and about, especially for Henry. Each year, our community hosts a Fourth of July party with yummy food, drinks, and dancing. We get to eat, drink, and be merry (No, but really!) and catch up with all our friends. I would say its a mixture of dressy and causal so this top is great that it can go either way.
Side note, you NEED, I repeat, NEED these leggings in your life. Yes, my pants are leggings, so between the stretch and the cute scallop detailing on the bottoms, these pants are a winner. They do not look like leggings at all, which is the best part. I seriously wear these with anything and everything. You probably, (no, you will), see them again, but I just had to share.

Hope ya’ll are having the best week! Who else is pumped for the weekend?! We are ready to get out and about and enjoy some sunshine and visiting with friends! It is currently raining in Atlanta and I am excited for a fun afternoon curled up with my little guy. Wait, more like making our house an absolute disaster since we can’t go outside 😉 Wish us luck!
