Father’s Day with Peach State Pride

Father’s Day with Peach State Pride

Hi friends!

Happy Friday! Gosh, what a week it has been! It is so hard getting back into the groove after Charleston. I can’t believe I am admitting this, but I was just able to unpack our suitcases yesterday and just started the laundry today! Yes, I know….ultimate struggle bus over here. Thankfully I am slowly checking off my to do list since I had the afternoon open. Henry took a nice long nap so that helped too 😉 He was worn out because we had a fun morning together. Fridays are Henry and I’s day together where I do not teach Pure Barre and we run our errands and do something fun out of the house. This morning we obviously started the day off with some Chick fila, duh! Henry loves eggs and biscuits so we had a little mommy and son breakfast date and Henry enjoyed every bite 🙂 He just recently learned to clap, so after every bite he was just clapping away LOL. After breakfast, we went to Target because we obviously needed our weekly fix! Henry is obsessed with Target and loves when he gets to pick out a toy. (Ive started something bad haven’t I?! Oops!) If Henry is a good boy, I allow him to get a new small toy a week. Today he picked out this and has been hooked ever since. All my mama’s you need this for the car seat! Henry was entertained the whole ride home and even sat and played with it when we got home. We then stopped at Petco before coming home for a nap. Henry absolutely loves the Pet store and visiting all of the animals. Today, we got to see a baby ferret. He kept talking and squealing to the little guy and even got to pet him. Safe to say, it was a fun and eventful morning and day!

Now, for Father’s Day! Okay, so little story here, Father’s Day is extremely special in our family! Any guesses as to why?! I’ll just go ahead and tell you! Henry was born last year on Father’s Day! It is safe to say I will never be able to top that present and/ timing again most likely 😉

However, I found some great options for your dad or husband that I can’t wait to share! Thanks to Peach State Pride, they are a one stop shop for all of your Father’s Day needs! William absolutely loves all of their polos, button downs, and t-shirts. He can go from work look, to date night, to lounging around the house all thanks to Peach State Pride. I do not think he could pick a favorite if he tried. My personal favorite are the polos and button downs because they are wrinkle free. Since I do the wash, anything to help a mama out, is a winner in my book. They also have collegiate clothing available for UGA, GA Southern, West Georgia, Georgia College, Kennesaw, Mercer, and Valdosta State. If clothing isn’t your dad or husbands thing, they also have hats, belts, wallets, drink wear, flasks, and sunglasses. Like I said before, one stop shop ya’ll! I can’t wait to place another order for William. I figured it would be nice if I help Henry out with the shopping for the next couple of years, you know?! 😉

We are off to eat some dinner! We are pretty predictable when it comes to food. My husband is obsessed (no, seriously!) with BBQ. I am pretty sure he could eat it every night for dinner! So on Friday’s we usually treat ourselves to some good ole BBQ. We have our favorite local spots, but tonight we are having Smokejacks. If you are in the Alpharetta area, you must try it! It is located in downtown Alpharetta and is so yummy!

I hope ya’ll have a fun night and happy weekend!!
